i am having problem to hear music and sd movies
i only hear ac3 mkv movies
what can couse the problem
my sound card is spdif optical conected to reciever
by the way on windows evrything is ok
how can i hear stereo throw spdif

You don't say which sound card you have, but you should be getting stereo output on your digital output during any PCM playback (music, non DD movie soundtrack, etc.) I'm sure this is probably the default in most sound card drivers. Did your card come with a management utility? If so, make sure you have the option for output all set to SPDIF and not to headphone or analog. I'll bet if you plug headphones into the analog headphone jack, you'll hear our music and other PCM sound. It's usually just a setting.
