Speedstep and Windows 7 (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i want build up an smal fanless HTPC.

I use an very smal mini PC with Intel 945GM Chip and a Intel T5200 Core 2 Duo mobil CPU.

Unfortunately in Win 7 are no settings for the CPU energiemanagement.

I thing the Speedstep funktion does not work under Win7.

Curious is, that this funktion work with an extra program like crystalcpuid!

Has anyone a idea?

Did you try RMclock?

Runs fine on my Mediaportal client Vistax64 setup (with AMD processor)
