First of all, can anyone tell me why we need spincontrols (those up/down arrows on most lists/thumbnail panels and filmstrip views) when you can use the channel up/down keys on a remote or page up/down on a keyboard to do the same thing more easily?
Secondly, I have read many posts asking how to disable them and some say they can only be disabled in list controls but not in thumbnail panels or filmstrips?
I tried adding <spinCanFocus>no</spinCanFocus> and moving the spin controls off the page and it seems to work in thumbnail and filmstrip views but maybe I am missing something, or maybe this has changed in the MP code?
We would like to disable them throughout the aMPed 4:3 skin, but before we do, we just wanted to check if we would be screwing up something for users.
So any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.
