Splash screen freeze (1 Viewer)

Hi.

I was using mptagthat yesterday for the first time, i had no problems and was able to retag loads of albums.
I came to use it today but for some reason it doesn't get any further than the splash screen with the message "Setting up Grids..."

I am using the latest version as of last night:
1.1.3412.36986

I'm running it on Vista Ultimate 32bit

Any help to get this running again would be very appreciated

i had that a few time as well on my dev notebook.
was debugging it, but couldn't find the reason for it.
as it went away i dodn't put any further notice on it.

iirc correctly, i got around the hang, by cancelling it from the task manager and tried it again.

just to let you know (and any others that have this problem in the future) that changing the config.xml file so that the <portable> value is 1 solved the problem for me
