    Hi,

I am a new user and initially I am trying to keep things simple with no plugins and using the basic skin whilst I become familiar with the application

I have now installed the standard power scheduler plugin on the TV Servier configuration and have gone through the settings. It says I must also install this on the Mediaportal configuration program by first selecting the power scheduler on the process tab under plugins. But when I go down to the process tab there is only one item listed - Audioscrubber. I cannot therefore complete the installation

My Win 7 system is not waking up to record programmes presumably for this reason. My version of mediaportal is 1.2.2.0

How can I overecome this? Whilst the MP config program does allow me to view uninstalled plugins, the standard power scheduler is not listed - only the ++ version

    Thanks

When it is installed the PowerScheduler++ plugin replaces the standard PowerScheduler plugin. To get the standard PowerScheduler plugin back you will need to uninstall PowerScheduler++. I can't offer much more advice as I don't use PowerScheduler++ myself.

You need to enable the plugin first, then it will show the new tree entry in tv server cfg

    Thanks Mbuzina,

I had clicked the enable button and gone through the settings for Power Scheduler in the Server Configuration. However, I now notice that I had failed to click both the shutdown and wakeup options under the general tab. The help file explains that I have to enable both

So I have done that, clicked OK. Then started the TV Config application, but under Plugins and Processes, there is still no sign of Power Scheduler. Plainly I am being stupid and have missed something. Any ideas?

You have to enable "Expert mode" in the MP configuration to see all plugins (including PS++).
