    I have GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard on my HTPC. If I wake my PC from standby using the MCE remote controller, it works fine. However, if PC wakes up because a recording is due, the screen stays black. I have to push the green key in the remote controller, after which the display works again, but there is a .NET exception shown.

    I have installed the S3USB fix from the driver CD. Anything else I could try?

    I have to use the option under general config "apply workaround fix for MP on resume from standby..."

    you could give that a try.

    I forgot to mention that I have tried that also, but it didn't help.

    Sorry to go a bit OT here, but is this the excact reg. I found for Asus:
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usb]
    "USBBIOSHACKS"=dword:00000000
    "USBBIOSx"=dword:00000000
    If not, could you post it? (Open it in notepad).

    Sorry, I don't have access to my HTPC or the driver CD right now (and I don't think the file existis in Gigabyte's website which really sucks).

    However, I would imagine it does something else than adds just a couple of entries to registry because there is quite a lot of files in the dir: (see image at the bottom of this page):

    GA-MA78GM-S2H wake-up from S3 by USB does not work

    Same here

    Incredible but I was just about to post about this issue and I find is already done!

    I have the same issue tested several times. Wake up and suspend works OK if done by remote but in case it goes to suspend after a TV record it remains black. In my case it doesn't allow me to see anything, I just can reset the system and therefore I can't get logs because logging begins from the reset point and nothing appears in the error log.

    Tested with general option about S3 resuming failing in some systems, and tried several options of the display detection in the CCC panel because I thought it was related.

    Any help will be welcome!

    Thanks.
