Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a hint which plugin is best for starting programs.

I tried with MyPrograms, but when starting Firefox from MP fullscreen, Mp somehow overlays and sometimes freezes. In Background Firefox is working normally.
I have the option "always on top" disabled.

when starting from windowed mode - everything works fine.

What I was thinking as workaround was to minimize MP before starting Firefox and maximizing MP after Firefox close.
In MyPrograms there is an option for pre-execute and post-execute.

But what am I gonna write there? ... better ... who can tell me the command for minimizing and maximizing MP?

Would be glad if someone could help !
I'm using MP 2.3.0 + svn + TV03 single seat
I use XP Pro SP2 with installed patches (installation as provided in wiki)

Freezing seems strange, as I need to minimize MP only when I start DX-applications, such as games. You could try plugin called EasyApps or MultiShortcut, but I'm not sure whether they work with 0.2.3 or not.

Danke für den Hinweis - habs mit MultiShortcut weiterversucht, jedoch mit wenig Erfolg.

Hab mich dann für einen Workaround mit Eventghost entschieden - das funktioniert prima.

I use Multishortcut (with 0.2.3.0) and it does exacly what you are looking for. I have it to minimize MP when Firefox is started, and then restore when FIrefox closes. I've use the excellent MCE Replacement plugin to make one of the buttons Alt-F4 so I can close Firefox with my remote. I also use mouse-mode to allow it to be used as a mouse.

Prima, dass die Plugin funktioniert! Hast du Firefox in full-screen [kein navigation bar] oder in einem Fenster?
