Start TV on Startup (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to have the tv start automatically on startup? I have it so my computers automatically logon and start mediaportal automatically, but I want the tv to start also so you wouldn't even know it was a computer until you stopped the live stream then when back to the menus. This would make it easier if there is a hiccup all a non techy person would have to do is hit the power button and everything would restart automatically.

Any suggestions or can you already do this?

Hi!

It is limited possible if you resume from standby (complete restart is not possible as far as i know).

There's an option in the general setup "show last active module ...". If you enable it, MP will go to the last active module before standby (if you go to into standby while watching live TV it should work).

I do that right now I was really hoping I could have it from restart. When my parents stay at my house and don't know how to start tv I would like it just to turn on automatically and if they couldn't get it they could just restart and it would all come back to the TV. If anyone else can figure a way out or if we could add this into a future release of MP that would be terrific!!!

I agree, starting in Live TV Mode when MediaPortal starts up would be a nice feature.

I prefer to boot up normally rather than using Suspend Mode since Windows in general tends to get buggy/bloated the longer it runs without a reboot.
