Starting My TV brings up just an empty dialog - no viewing possible (1 Viewer)

CPU Type: Intel 3.0 Dual Core
Memory: 1 GB
Motherboard: Asrock 775-TWINSHD
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 6500

TV Card: Twinhan DTV Alpha USB (7045)
TV Card Type: DVB-T
MPEG2 Video Codec: Tried several (incl DScaler, MPV)

Hi fellow MP users!

This is an issue I don't seem to find anyone else having, at least not from searching these eminent forums.

Here's how to reproduce the problem:
1. Start MediaPortal
2. Select My TV
3. Select "TV On" (or whatever it's called in English, mine's in Swedish)
4. An empty dialog comes up, no text, just the option to press OK.
5. No TV is displayed and the "TV On" button is deselected again
6. Steps 3-5 can be repeated with the same results over and over again.

I've used Mediaportal on other XP systems without any problems, so one option is of course to reinstall Windows. However, it really takes a lot of time to get a new system up and running the way I want it, so asking for help here seems to be the easier first step.

Watching TV works in both the Twinhan software and ProgDVB. I've also had the card working on other systems, so I know it's not hardware related.

The log suggests this has something to do with WMR9, which I guess in turn has something to do with DirectX, right? Anyway, I've upgraded to DX 9.0c, but that doesn't help.

I've tried different decoders as well, no luck.

Can anyone help?
