Hi!
I have added a SkyStar2 PCI DVB-S Card to my HTPC. I never used TV with MP (only movies) but today I got curious about how it works with MP
So, I installed the SkyStar with the latest drivers from the Technisat HP and MP - Configuration found it immediatly. I scanned Astra 1A/..1/E for channels and found a few hundreds. Then I started MP and suddenly some static noise was hearable.
I start MP with the HOME screen. I then entered My TV and I was able to view PRO7 or other TV channels. Audio was hearable but the static noise was still present. I then exit to Desktop and removed the TV card from the MP configuration. I started MP again, TV no longer works (of course) but the static noise was also gone. I never noticed this static noise before but when I enable the Skystar2 card in MP configuration it immediatly becomes hearable after starting MP. When exiting from MP the noise goes away. Seems like it comes and goes with starting/stopping the Skystar2 card?
Any ideas?
