Whenever I stop DVD playback with the F2 key, I get the following error dialog:

MediaPortal has to be closed for configuration.
Close MediaPortal and start Configuration?
[ Yes ] [ No ]

When I click 'No' the dialog closes and I can carry on using MP regardless.

This happens wether the DVD is real or virtual (Demon Tools)

Is there a way I can suppress or remove this error message?

I'm using PowerDVD for playback.

I did a forum search for this message and got plenty search results, but no messages actually containing the search strong -- which means I don't understand how to use it. But I leave that for another thread. ;-)

At times, MP window closes on startup, but MediaPortal.exe process is still in Taskman. But it works on second attempt.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

F2 is MP shortcut to start configuration and this is normal behavior. Try to remap stop key in PowerDVD (key B is standard key for stop in MP so I think there should be no problem in PDVD with this key as Stop).
