I understand the problem and I understand why MP tries to record it again and again. But to explain it with my example (a weekly show, one week without show): You don't want to delete the whole weekly schedule, because there's only one week with another thing on this channel. I also had problems to get in the menu where I can configure the schedule (in MP, where time after recording/ before recording, delete, record...) - you can't select it in EPG, because in this week it's not there... There should be a possibility to stop schedules for one time - it is a stupid situation if you are sitting in front of TV, on every channel are nice movies, but to switch the channel, you have to open TV Server Config, delete this schedule and a few days later (because EPG is only about 5 days in future available) you have to remember to select you show again and create a new weekly schedule. I think its important, that a recording/schedule stops when you hit "stop recording". That's where the button should be for. Otherwise its only for one time manual recordings and not very interessting. I think it is a MUST HAVE function for an TV recorder, that you have a stop function that works... Every normal PVR has this function, and VHS, too. I don't want to overvalue this problem, but I think it's important for usability, that you can stop it within one click in MP and not have to go the complicated way over several menus or via TV Server config. Maybe you can ask the user, if he wants to stop the schedule only this time or if he wants to delete it for ever. Simple message box.
