Sometimes when my HTPC resumes from S3 and I (try to) start watching TV, MP reports an "unknown error ocurred" and the only way to get past this is to stop and start the TVService. I found out that if I exit MP and go to the Windows Services panel, then right-click on "TVService" -> Stop, the the same and -> Start, the TVService is not really started because if I then start the TV Server Config tool, it tells me that the TVService is not running and asks if it should start the service.
Now I had expected that stopping and starting it via the Windows Services panel would be enough, but obviously there's something more going on, so does anybody know the detailed background story on this?

Thanks in advance

Is there really no-one who knows why stopping and restarting TVService from Windows Services panel results in the TV Server Config thinking that TV Service is no longer running?
