Stopping TV on home screen crashes mediaportal

    When watching TV, returning to the home screen and pressing stop on the remote causes mediaportal to become unresponsive (either blanking the screen or freezing the image). Stopping TV in guide or elsewhere works fine.

    Do you have VMR9 selected? If yes then try EVR.

    I had VMR9 selected. Selecting EVR solved the issue.

    Looks like VMR9 and Vista is currently not so good combo with MP. Althou there shoudlnt be any reason to use VMR9 with Vista.

    I've used VMR9 earlier but since RC3 I started to get really strange error so i tried to change to EVR and since then i haven't got these weird errors anymore. Why is that? Something must have changed since last public svn of RC2 and release of RC3

    EDIT: suppose tourettes answered my question before I even asked it! :)
