Hi,

With the RC1 release, I had some trouble setting up DVD audio to SPDIF. (see my post here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-0-rc1-svn-builds-270/dvd-ffdshow-38451/)

I've just done a clean install of all my windows and installed all of this in that order:
- Fresh Windows Install
- Install all updates
- Firefox
- Thunderbird
- Latest drivers
- Filezilla
- notepad ++
- Auto Gordian knot http://www.autogk.me.uk
- ffdshow last tryout
- pidgin
- open office
- Haali media splitter http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/
- Real alternative
- Quick time alternative
- vsfilter
- winrar
- .net 3
- Windows Media player 11
- MediaPortal/TVServer
- VLC
- power DVD
- Dscaler

I ended up using Dscaler for audio as I didn't managed do set SPDIF out neither with MPA nor ffdshow.

Now, I'm having another problem in video playback. As an example is better than long talks, take a look at my enclosed screen shoot. This is not good at all :-(

I've also enclosed my logs...

Note the this DVD used to play well on previous versions of MP. It stills plays well on Power DVD and VLC.

    Hi!
The newest version of DScaler contains some bugs. If you like to use DScaler, please do a forum search to find the recommended version for MP. (I can't remembver ATM).

Not 100 % sure that this is the issue, but well worth a try?
