A week ago I have come across a keystroke (Shift+1) that shows all kinds of info about the video you are displaying at that point. It shows frames per seconds, resolution, etc. Because I was working a refresh-rate profiles, i was using this feature. While playing back a 1080p movie, I saw that the resolution displayed in this tool was only 1280x1024. This is very strange, as I am viewing on a 1920x1080 Full HD Plasma. So, I stopped the playback and went to my desktop settings. Here is said 1920x1080, as I was expecting. I then proceeded to check the video I was displaying and saw in MPC (properties) that the movie was indeed 1920x1080. To cross-check, I viewed some more 1080p content, but in all cases the Shift+1 keystroke showed the 1280x1024 resolution. Why is this resolution displayed? Is this needed to use the function, or is MP actually playing back in 1280x1024. If so, why is it doing that? My desktop is setup properly to display 1080p content. I'm on an ATI 4670 GPU, I use the MPC standalone codec (from the SAF package) and use ATI driver v9.1. It is displayed on a full HD Panasonic plasma. Any ideas what is going on?
