    Synopsis::

    I use an extrnal STB for watching TV. Display timeout and Zap delay settings are 0 sec, Zap time out is 1 sec.

    When I switch channels, the following happens:

    Start: I watch channel X and press the channel up button on my remote
    1. The OSD pops up and shows the information of the next channel --> Ok.
    2. The screen gets black and the sound mutes --> Ok.
    3. Channel X appears again for about a second --> Not Ok.
    4. Channel Y appears --> Ok

    I know that step 3 is related to timeshifting. But IMHO there should be a better way to switch channels, which could probably even reduce channel switching time.

    Hi Goldeneye

    Strange because i've just updated to cvs from 5/4 and have noticed the TV function much more responsive, and i mean not much different from standard tv channel changing.
    But this was done as a clean install with a empty Mediaportal folder (except mptray and mphook) and reloaded everything.
    Even when timeshifting channel change around 1 second.

    I've experienced a version of this bug, but its more...interesting. For me, changing channel by inputing the number can randomly result in returning to an earlier channel. For example, going from channels A->B->C results in A->B->A instead, and I have to change it again to the original target, resulting in a string of A->B->A->C. I've tried tracing it or looking for patterns, but I can't seem to find any. I haven't experienced it yet with the current April 7th build, but I have with essentially every build up through it. Its hard to tell if the builds I didn't experience it with were as a result of code changes or just not using the build that much that day.
