I have received the receiver and installed it without much effort. The mounting bracket is useful for the fc08 case because it fits exactly into the corner by the ir window and lines the receiver up nicely to the window too. The metal bracket comes with a couple of washers that stop the back of the circuit board short circuiting so I put them in too. I just used double sided tape to hold it all together. Well, I would have used double sided tape but didn't have any so I used my wife's boob tape instead :) So it was boob tape onto the case (on the same side as the heat sink), then bracket, then boob tape, then washers, then boob tape, then receiver. I attached it to the case last, of course. There is an option to turn on the cir in the uefi. I checked that was on, then installed the driver from the asrock site and it appeared as both a nuvoton cir device and an ehome device in device manager. I selected mce remote in standard mp config, rather than using irss, and my harmony one remote is now working fine. I haven't used one with mp before. I may want to switch a couple of the button mappings around but that is for another day.
