Ok. i just picked up arcsoft total media theater 3 because I read that it upscales ( as much as possible) ALL media to 1080p using a addon that is included called SIMHD, well apparently you need a ati stream compatible video card. I have read release notes regarding this and other posts from various sites as well as email ATI/AMD regarding this and was told basically everything 3000x and up supports ATI Stream, I installed the newest 9.9 and the damn plug in still wont function. It only functions with DVD's. I emailed support at arcsoft and basically got the run around. Anyone else try this software and have any luck with it.

Lend me your thoughts or any ideas as to other software.

Thanks

Have you checked the requirements on their website?

Original Video File Limits:

File type: .mpg or .mpeg
File format: MPEG 2
Maximal video resolution: 720 x 576 (DVD Resolution)
Video width and height: should be multiples of 16

Yep, even ran that online checker as well. All the docs say it should work. but it doesnt, and the support for this software wont respond to emails. so much for customer service!
I moved on though. going to stick with ffdshow. no muss to fuss. takes a little time to get it tweeked the way you want it but at least when you ask questions you get a response back. granted this did get a response back but it took almost 2 months and it was from a user rather than support. WHICH IM STILL WAITING ON AN EMAIL FROM!!:D
