Streamed MP v1.2.1 Stable [24 July 2010] [Supports MP 1.1.0] (1 Viewer)

We are pleased to announce the latest release of StreamedMP Skin that fully supports MediaPortal 1.1.0.

If you Uninstall MediaPortal, whether it be manually or part of an upgrade (ie Fresh Install option) please also uninstall StreamedMP.

Note: The upgrade currently does not support migration of previous custom items on BasicHome screen. Users who previously customized BasicHome should re-enter the Editor and generate new BasicHome menu after Installation.

Change Summary
New Features
· Full support for MediaPortal 1.1
· Support for TVSeries 2.6 and ClearArt in VideoOSD and NowPlaying overlays.
· Enhanced patching system - can now update dll and exe components if required.
· Support for InfoService most recent series feature on BasicHome from the editor with choice of layouts.
· New weather screen, now shows current weather and next 4 days.
Enhancements
· Exit,Shutdown and Restart buttons relocated to bottom left on BasicHome vertical menu.
· Prevent illegal characters being entered in menu names.
· StreamedMPConfig plugin now uses seperate log file.
· Added the ability to add Shutdown and Exit options to the menu in BasicHome
Fixes
· Fix format exception in date from different cultures (Config Plugin)
· Fix ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll not being installed if you don't select MP-TVSeries plugin during installation.
· And many more minor fixes and tweaks.

This is an odd one, it seems to be when it is reading the skin location form MediaPortalDirs, can you please post your error and mediaportal logs files and a copy of your MediaPortalDirs.xml please.

EDIT: Could you please also supply your MediaPortal.xml

I should be able to figure out what is wrong from them.

Damien may correct me here but I think the issue still exists. The issue is with the fonts and as these have not changed the problem will still exist.

I have read though a couple of the related issues and now this release is out of the way I will look at possible soloutions.

In StreamedMP menu editor the MovingPictures part is completely greyd out, but then again it works with MPTVseries (I can select the layout and it shows up in Basic Menu in MP)
MovingPictures "recently added" doesn't show in Basic Home in MP, nor because the options in the editor are greyd out, can I select a layout for it -- so it can't be activated.

A bug or a feature?

This is intentional, currently only TVSeries supports the most recent feature provided by InfoService but we hope the support will be added to MovingPictures soon.

The editor has been built to handle both but the MovingPictures part disabled until the functionality is added.
