    Hi Everyone, for those users who are testing the MovingPictures 1.0 Beta and want to help test the corresponding StreamedMP skin updates please do so by downloading the skin update files below:

    Note: support for movingpictures v1.0 is already included with StreamedMP v1.0

    Default Style
    http://streamedmp.googlecode.com/files/MovingPictures-1.0.1-Default.zip

    OR

    Fanart Style
    http://streamedmp.googlecode.com/files/MovingPictures-1.0.1-Fanart (r2).zip

    Skin Files should be extracted into your existing skin directory, by default this is:

    WinXP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\StreamedMP

    WinVista/Win7: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\StreamedMP

    Note: Its important that you are using MediaPortal 1.1.0, we are using some of the new features of the skin engine e.g. Logos (using new string functions) and Shadows.

    We have also provided a download link to some wonderful icons which can be used in the skin when browsing MovingPictures categories, these have been designed by Xzener's over at MediaBrowser forums. Please go there and show your appreciation or help contribute.

    To Install these category images, extract them to the skins Media\Categories folder:

    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\StreamedMP\Media\Categories

    The Streamed installer will package these when we are ready for the official release. This should be around the same time as MovingPictures release.

    Thanks for testing.

    Awesome thanks heaps, any chance of sorting the "ratings dialog" at the moment it displays that the skin does not support it thanks!

    +1 - I noticed on the Blue Wide skin the Dolby/DTS was different to the StreamedMP so here's hoping!:D

    Awesome work! but could it be possible to implement dolby/dts and hd-ready/fullhd logo's?

    We already have these:

    Dolby Digital 5.1 = DD 5.1
    Dolby Digital 2.0 = DD 2.0
    DTS 5.1 = DTS 5.1
    DTS 6.1 = DTS 6.1
    DTS 7.1 = DTS 7.1

    720P = HD 720p
    1080P = HD 1080p
    1080i = HD 1080i
    Fullscreen SD = SD 4:3
    Widescreen SD = SD 16:9

    Each skin may do different icons, we could consider coming up with different icon packs. So instead of Textual ones we could provide a more graphical appearance.

    Sounds very interesting, I think it would look good.

    The advantage of the way we have it now is that its very flexible and easy to create new ones. Also, each logo is consistent in looks.
