Hello..


I have reformatted the server and client, since it began to get a bit unstable and sluggish...


Now, it works fine, except for the client of the TV-server... It's stuttering, just like if there were not enough bandwidth =S I'm connected through cat 5e-cables and a 100 Mbit switch, the tv went smooth before the reformatting...


The only difference now, is that i'm running a trial of 2k3-server on the server for now, so it probably has something to do with that...



The local tv-client on the server (singleseat) works just fine...




Is there some setting i've missed? I'm on latest SVNs... Anyone got a clue??

not sure but i'm having similar issues, was working fine, did a format on the htpc and updated to the latest svn and my client is stuttering as well now, trying to problem solve it now

well i have the same error since the svn wehre the db was so changed that it was not possible to import the old "export.xml".

Yepp same here. seen it on the latest svn:s. Even with a clean install and manual deleting sql database. I have three TV cards (Twinhan DVBT, FloppyDTV DVBT & Technotrend DVBS2). The stuttering went away when I inactivated the FloppyDTV ... I had so much problem with that one that I'm going to burn it on next halloween... (However - It works all OK when it's alone)

Same here as well, I reverted to an older version of the client plugin because the stuttering was severe.

Same problem here. Stuttering where it wasn't before the SVN update of yesterday.

edit: It becomes unwatchable and eventually freezes completely after changing a channel.

I just got the latest source from SVN, built the plugin and installed it. No stuttering yet, been watching for about 5 minutes.

I only have it when watching from a remote client. The client on the server itself works fine. The computers are as good as identical, hardware wise and software wise. The configuration of MP also is. On both computers I use the latest PureVideo codec.

I've tested my network speed. Nothing wrong with that.

hey bram , can you try playing the stream from the server via say wmp or vlc or something do you find the same results as me , that it plays completly fine through those apps but in MP ti lags up like something else is going on and chewing up CPU/GPU cycles or soemthing

Went back to a older SVN of MP and older Tv engine svn and the stutter how now gone without changing anything else on the server or client, seems my PC is reacting in some way to the new SVNs that are out
