Hey!

All the newly downloadad subs via MP TVseries interface now get language code ".English" (e.g. Rubicon.S01E02.The.First.Day.of.School.HDTV.XviD-FQM.[VTV].English.srt) appended to their file name.

This wasn't happening in the previous verison. Is there a setting i have to change?

I am using MP 1.1.0 and MP TVSeries v 2.6.0

Im pretty sure that is a feature of SubtitleDownloader but could be wrong. I believe it was so you can download more than one language file.

It is nice to have a feature like this, but i mostly watch movies with one language subtitles.

And it poses a problem if you try to watch a movie in a player that doesn't support language extensions in filename. In those cases i have to rename the dubtitle filename.

Not to mention it also creates a bug with MP, where you keep geting the download subtitile dialogue eve though you alread downloaded the subtitles.

    Did a little test:

    OK...
    download new episode,
    hit play in MP,
    SUbtitled download dialogue comes up,
    Select download subtitle,
Subtitle download complete and succesful dialogue appears.
    exit MP
    restart MP
    select the new episode
    hit play
The damn subtitle download dialogue still comes up-(shouldn't restart of MP sort that out?)

    Another AND WORKING way:
    download new episode,
    hit play in MP,
    SUbtitled download dialogue comes up,
    Select download subtitle,
Subtitle download complete and succesful dialogue appears.
go to epxlorer and remove filename language extension
    return to MP
    hit play
    No download subtitile dialogue
    Works like a charm ...

So it seems that the problem is the subtitle language extension in filename.

So why not simply enable the user to choose wether he wishes to append the language extension to the subtitle filename or not.
