can you add the support for the mkv subtitles and divx subtitles?(xsub), my ps3 reads only the divx with xsub..i think it's useful the possibility to use the subs included in mkv and divx files

    Short answer (because I don't know to much about this).
    - The "standard" way of using subs in MP is by using VobSub, and I think that makes MP support whatever VobSub does ...
    - You can also "ditch" VobSub and use FFDShow if support for your subs is better
    - MP will use MPC-HC's subtitle engine - which don't brak DXVA --> https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...48/integration-mpc-hc-subtitles-engine-54130/

    Use the method that makes your subs show....

    This is not possible, only on the bluray present subtitles can be selected. Same as above. Audio streams can never be selected apart from the merged ones. You'll have to use tools like the mentioned Media-Buddy to achieve that. Subtitles of local media can be placed into the same folder (with the same name) into the video file. You...

    Thank you. I had a look at that part of the menu, but there's no option for DVB subtitles. Probably it has something to do bit some issue of MP2 with PGS subtitles that I've read in several posts. Although I don't know if DVB subs are also PGS subs. I guess that it will be fixed in future versions of MP2. Anyway, if somebody is...

    I had the same feeling about MP1, nothing was working out of the box, it was full of hardcoded dependencies and bugs. That’s how I came to MP2 and I’m very happy with it ;)

    Thanks for the info. Now I know how to create logs. I remapped the keys and, for the moment, after using MP2 several times, they function well. If the mapping disappears again, I'll send you some logs. Thank you!

    MP1 MP2 MP2 - V2.5 Trailer plugin DE
    Maybe the wording “plugin” is misleading, because almost every feature in MP2 is basically a plugin. This allows to even exchange core elements easily. Short: Of course it can be also a feature as part of the installer, means integrated for the user.
