Hi all!

I'm a bit confused - or perhaps I just need a good explanation ... !?!?

I was under the impression that subtitles was not yet working on DVB.

I upgraded to MP 0.2.0.3 a couple of day ago and much to my surprise i have subtitles on one of the three danish channels I receive via DVB-T (Nova-T PCI card).

I am not actually sure this has something to do with the upgrade. The subtitles work on channel DR2 (not watching this very often) and not on the two "main" danish channels (DR1 and TV2).

So ...
1. Subtitles are working and I just need to learn how to configure.
2. < other explanation goes here ...>

That would be great, but I don't think that we are that lucky :)
Occationly DR2 transmits the subtitles together with the picture - like they do with the analogue signal.

But I colud be wrong, in that case: Yipiiii :D

You're right. DR2 subtitles are "burned" in the picture - there are no individual subtitle stream. Therefore DR2 are only transmitting a picture. Unfortunately we will have to wait a while before Media Portal supports DVB subtitles.

Well .....

Not the explanation I hoped, but kinda what I expected ;-)

Actually boosted the WAF factor a point or two when I found out, but OK, I'll wait ...
