subtitles with multi-part videos (1 Viewer)

Dear all,
I've a problem with the subtitles of multi part videos:

if I have a single part AVI file, it's ufficient to give the same name to subs and avi, as:

myvideo.avi
myvideo.srt

and everything goes well,
but with multi part files this is not possible, if I make something like:
myvideo-CD1.avi
myvideo-CD2.avi
myvideo.srt

MP doesn't recognize the subtitle file as belonging to myvideo slitted video
any solution/workaround?
