MediaPortal Version: 1.0.1

HDD: Seagate 7200.11 500GB
Memory: 1GB Kingston DDR2
Motherboard: Some kind of Asus mATX (don't know exactly, it's my brother's)
Video Card: Onboard Radeon HD2400
Video Card Driver: Catalyst 9.1
Sound Card: Onboard Realtek
Sound Card AC3: ???
Sound Card Driver: Newest
MPEG2 Video Codec: Microsoft MPEG2 decoder
MPEG2 Audio Codec: Ffdshow audio filter
h.264 Video Codec: CoreAVC
HTPC Case: Antec 2480
Power Supply: Default Antec 2480
Remote: Logitech Harmony w/ Philips Vista remote

So my brother is having random crashes during playback. Mediaportal seems to crash, Windows is fine after forcing Mediaportal to shut down with Alt+F4, although it takes a few minutes for Windows/Mediaportal to react. There's nothing wrong with the file, as it plays fine on a Popcorn Hour Networked Media Tank.

Logfiles can be found here

Please help me!

Update: it's getting quite weird

It seems that MP only crashes when files are played from a specific (internal) harddisk. The movies on the OS harddisk seem to crash after a random amount of time, while movies from the DATA harddisk seem to work fine. The weird thing is: streaming the movie works fine when tested with thePopcorn Hour Networked Media Tank. Also playback using Mediaplayer classic is without problems, so the problem should be within Mediaportal right?
