Sorry for being a NOOB but I've lost my Video Overlay so I just get a black screen when in full screen mode for both TV / DVD / Video (the thumb nail is OK). I've stuffed around with different CODEC's, FFD setting etc (and ever reinstalled MediaPortal). Everything still works fine in both Nero Home and also in the HDTV Tuner software!
Thanks
Nathan

PS at this rate I'l be back at the VHS stage shortly!

Sounds like you have your video card in clone mode with the monitor set as primary display. You need to go to the nvidia applet and make your tv the primary display.

OK - I've done a clean install of WinXP - then added the basic drivers (NVIDIA / CMEDIA / DVICO - Note: I have not loaded any other codec packs including FFDShow) and finally installed Media Portal but I get the same issues. I only get a black screen with FULL SCREEN Video Files / TV (thumb nail video is fine). When playing DVD's I get a Thumb Nail sized display in "Full Screen"!!. Note: I get full screen fine from the DVICO TV Software, and also playing Video Files from MP9

I've checked my NVIDIA sofware setting and the Hitachi Plasma is the only display. Any ideas please as it has to be something NOOBish!!!!

Note: the NVIDIA 6200TC is driving a Plasma TV via a Yami Amp (DVI to the Amp, HDMI to the TV).
