Suggestion: use images already provided (1 Viewer)

I have many Series which have no thumbnails of the video on TheTVDB.com however I have thumbnails in the same directory as the video files with exactly the same filename as the video. Is it maybe possible to make MyTVSeries pick up these images? F.e.:

Cops.S14E01.avi
Cops.S14E01.jpg
Cops.S14E02.avi
Cops.S14E02.jpg

Et cetera.
I would love to see this implemented, is it possible?

The thumbnail updater might work. I believe the newest version (0.81) posted in later posts now skips making already present thumbs and just enters them into the db. Ask the author to be sure, he's very receptive and quick to respond.

You can let updater make thumbs for you or, once it has thumbs made, you can replace them with your own custom thumbs (with the same name) without changing the db entry.

I know, but uploading a few hundred COPS episode images is LOTS of work. An automatic system would be great.

I agree 1stdead, mptvseries is only as good as the community supporting it. If I have a serie not containing fanart or episode images, I try to find fanart and upload it and since weeji's thumbupdater, episode images as well. Sure, you spend three hours on a sunday morning getting RSI, but it's worth it in the end. And you have an online backup, should have problems with your pc
