Support channel selection (1 Viewer)

First, thanks for the great software. Not trying to be a whiney bitch here.

My TV channels are not contiguous. With my cable package, I have channels 2-23, 34-41 and then 59 and 60.

So, I can't punch up a channel by entering its number on the numpad. For the lower range, I can type in one lower (e.g., 13 on numpad and get channel 14) but for the other ranges MP doesn't do anything.

Not the end of the world by any means, but would be nice to be able to do this.

I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

it's not possible currently afaik sorry... I'm in Australia and I too would like to be able to do this.

This request does the rounds every so often and can create some very fiery discussions. It seems people from european countries haven't grown up channel changing the same way we have - some think we are crazy for even suggesting this feature.

I haven't heard of any plans for MP to change to support 'direct channel numbers'.
