Support for cursor keys and mouse wheel to change channels (1 Viewer)

Hi !

If I am watching TV in Mediaportal it would be nice if I could use the mouse wheel and/or the cursor keys to switch channels instead of using the mouse.

Similar to SageTV, Dscaler etc.

You should be able to do this easily with girder . . .

thanks for your help, but I don´t want to use Girder. I am using the Sconi IR device that comes with it´s own software (Sconi Center) and does not have a Girder plugin.

Running two of those apps would be overkill and also I think better mouse support should be integrated into MP without relying on external apps for this.

Well, you had said with a mouse, and girder does have a mouse plugin which can map mouse actions to girder events.

If you have your own specific software then you should be able to map your mouse actions to specific keys yeah?
