Swap to HD TV from SD (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to change from SD TV to HD without reinstalling Mediaportal?

When I installed it asked me if I would use my card to watch HD channels, I initially selected yes but the scanning for channels took so long I gave up and went back and selected no.

I thought that I might not be able to get Free to air HD in my area because of the time it was taking and finding no channels but scanning for SD took just as long so I'm wanting to now rescan for HD tv, is it possible without reinstalling mediaportal?

Also, incase anybody wants to know, My card is a Black & Gold BGT3500 PCI TV card which works with mediaportal fine, couldn't find any info when i bought this card as to whether it was supported or not as it isn't in the supported cards list.

Your dual dvb-t card is not capable of UK freeview HD, you need a dvb-t2 card for that and there are currently none made.

What are they meaning by this on the website?

I assumed that it would receive the over the air HD streams of BBC etc.
