Hi,

I'm looking for a way to switch from 1080i to 576p by using a command line ; i'm using a A/V transmiter to see the tv in my room, and it does not support more than 576p.

I'd like to switch easily between the two signals when i change room...

My GC is a Geforce 8600 GT

Thanks :D

Hi,

I checked this software, but i can only change the resolution.
I already have found some softwares that do the same (Multires, QuickRes, SetVideo...).

The problem is that i need to change, not only the resolution, but also the signal : i'd like to go from 1920*1080 in 1080i to 1024*576 in 576p...

Thanks or your answer :D

    Format:
    rundll32.exe NvCpl.dll,dtcfg setmode <display#> <hres> <vres> <bpp> <freq>

Example to set Display #1 to 1920x1080@60Hz
    rundll32.exe NvCpl.dll,dtcfg setmode 1 1920 1080 32 60

The resolution must exist though. You can't set it to a mode that hasn't be pre-created.

    Delete the 1080i resolution.

Just tried it : doesn't work.

The problem is the resolution 1024*576 is not supported in 1080i (even if i try to force it). So, there must be two steps :
    - switch from 1080i to 576p
    - choose resolution 1024*576

I have to do the same to go back in HD...

    Thanks anyway ;-)

How are the displays connected - is the primary display on the DVI/HDMI/VGA connection and the video sender on the TV output from the card ?
