Switching PC off with Windows MCE Remote ? (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

Just new to this, so please be gentle with me. I have a Dell GX520 SFF computer, which I am using with Mediaportal (v0.2.2.0). So far everything is working fine, and I have purchased a Windows MCE Remote to use with my system. It seems to work fine (basically out of the box), although I may have a small problem. If I press the TV button, it closes down Mediaportal (which I believe is correct), but if I press the PC button, nothing happens. Should this button shut down my computer, as I believe is should?

I believe it should put the PC into standby. Not Shutdown. Perhaps you have Standby modes disabled?
