Synchronisation plugin (1 Viewer)

I've installed a HTPC with MP for my parents last month, and they asked me whether is was possible to connect a DV/photo camera to the machine, and that MP would then synchronize its picture/movie database with new data from the camera. I know something like this is available in Media Center, but are there already some efforts made in creating this for MP?

I'm interested on this, anyone know of a pluging that do what MCE does with pictures? Sync.. Red eyes fix etc etc

I use a program called Allway Sync to sync files from my desktop to my htpc. It has a lot of features and can sync things like cameras and usbsticks when they are inserted. Also it is free if you don't do a ton of transfers. I ended up buying the program because I went over their transfer limit and have yet to find a better, easier to use sync program.
