I think it would be nice to see a system status plugin telling the user:
1. which (if any) tuners are in use,
2. if the transcoding is in process
3. if any commercial flagging is in progress ...etc
this could be tied in with the power scheduler to keep the system on when a daemon tool / process is in use and percentages complete!?!
this is a feature of mythtv and is really helpful little tool.
