TBS 6982 always idle state (2 Viewers)

Hi

I can't make the tbs 6982 card work properly with mediaportal 1.6 on windows 7 64

I set up the card on simple diseqc hotbird astra.

I can scan channels with the tv server, but the card is always on idle state.

So when i start live tv on mediaportal i get the error no free card available.

So what's wrong ?

Yes same issue with 1.6 patch.

In other words, the reason that you're getting that message is that you're trying to tune an encrypted channel... but the TBS 6982 has no way to decrypt it.

I am not trying to tune any kind of channels, i can't even activate live tv because of the no free card available

When you try to activate live TV, that means you are trying to tune a channel!
I suggest you try to activate live TV with a free (unscrambled - not encrypted) channel.

This is normal. It just means that the card is not being used. If you were successfully watching live TV or a recording then it would not be idle.
