Hello all,

Just went on amazon to purchase on of these cards and they were on for £74.99 and now they have run out of stock and they dont know if there getting any more !!

So to my question does anybody know where i can get one for the same sort of monies, or a card that is gonna do the same job and is reliable and a good performer ?

First, welcome to the forum!
That Amazon price is pretty sharp - cheaper than buying a single card direct from the manufacturer. I guess it is pretty obvious that Amazon buys in bulk. Having said that, it is going for 120 pounds on Amazon.co.uk at the moment - in stock, but significantly more expensive than the price you quoted.

To be honest, the TBS6981 is the cheapest dual DVB-S2 PCIe tuner that I have ever come across. I doubt you'd find anything new and cheaper, and if it was it wouldn't be worth buying if you know what I mean. You might have to hang out for Amazon to get more stock at the lower price...

Will have to break it gently to the wife and just buy one then lol

Just checking clearence between my video card and the required slot first.

ps. we have terminated our sky tv and its off air as of the 17th july, they were a complete nightmare when we said we wanted to cancel, very rude and would not listen to anything we had to say, just tried to talk over the top of us, so irritating!

Does anyone know the exact length of the card and a width so i can see if it will fit past my cooler and not hit my memory banks!
Seems a very tight area due to the 5850 taking up so much space.

That's correct. Moreover,it's a low profile card with low profile bracket.
