please anyone wants or has a HTPC or a PC that is on a lot get started with folding

    team-mediaportal ON Folding@Home

    number 183428

    Folding@Home

for systems with highend GPUs ex 8800 gtx 9800 and gtx 240 and up
Download the NVIDIA GPU Client for Windows uses CUDA and is up to 50X faster then CPU
    http://www.evga.com/folding/files/Folding@home-Win32-NVIDIA-GPU-systray-623.msi

i do not think it's a good idea to run the gpu ver when using mediaportal on Windows 7
windows it self uses the GPU like a CPU and it will slow every thing down way down

the cpu ver will switch on and off when with load so it will pause when you need the power and start when your away

Download the CPU Client for Windows:
    http://www.evga.com/folding/files/Folding@home-Win32-CPU-systray-623.msi

    for other OS's check
    Folding@home - Download the Folding@home software application

IF YOU HAVE CRAPPY COOLING THIS WILL BURN UP YOUR SYSTEM!
PLEASE HAVE AT LEST 1 CASE FAN NOT JUST A POWER SUPPLY FAN.
I HAVE SEEN SOME HTPC SETUP THAT WAY AND THEY DON'T LIVE LONG

if you need help with setup just check out the guide on evga's page
    EVGA | Folding@EVGA | Home

my main folding name is FahMan

if you join please post a link to your points page

I just added the team id to my F@H account. I have not done any folding in months but have my HTPC that runs 24/7. My F@H account name is z3r0_burn.

    Lets get this thing rolling!

I'm in. My folding name is andrew.brake.

I run F@H at night while getting torrents, I figure it may as well do something useful while it's turned on.

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
