    I am just switching rom Vista 32bt + MePo 1.0.2 to Windows 7 + MePo 1.1

My biggest problem is my Technotrend S2-3200. It works really fine after normal system start, but freezes the system on wakeup from S3 standby. There is no Win7 driver for it, I use the Vista drivers. The system freezes to the extent that not even starting taskmanager or a restart possible! I have to kill it with the power switch, brutally.

    - it is not a MePo issue, it freezes ProgDVB also
    - it is not 32bit/64bit issue, it freezes Win7 64bit and 32bit both
    - it is not a hardware issue, my dual-boot system with Vista 32bit works fine
    - I tested all available drivers, all freeze (they work fine on Vista 32bit)

Any ideas? Any help appreciated! :D

edit: I have tried devcon restart *1131 without success.

Have you tried the beta driver for W7?

thanx man, I overlooked it. I will give a test tomorrow and report.

    EDIT:

I have tried the Win7 beta driver (Technotrend 5.0.2.1), same result: freeze of system after resume
I have tried to completely remove MediaCenter: no success
I have tried to deactivate the card before styndby and reactivate after resume: no success, freeze after resume

I have to stick to Vista then really? Or change my TV-Card.

    EDIT:
one small achievement: "standby" (save-to-ram) freezes, but "hibernate" works. I can live with that.

    Hey,

    I've experienced a similar problem with my Technotrend S-2400 (Win7 64bit):

After waking from S3, the LED on the receiver stayed red, not green like it's supposed to. I have to unplug and plug it in again to be able to watch TV.

What worked for me was that I don't plug it directly into the HTPC, but use a USB-Hub in between.
You could try that, maybe you have one lying around. ;)

for me this card is working without problems, and it is going into s3 sleep mode daily, and no problem after wakeup (see my sys-spec for details)...
