Hi!

I have posted this Problem in the german community, but no answer - hope the international community can help!

I have bought an external USB-tuner TT-connect S2-3650 CI because it should be fully supported (included CI) as stated on http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...ystem/01_Supported_TV_Cards#DVB-S.2FS2_Tuners.
But it seems that the CI is not supported - no CI menu in TV Server setup. If i want to switch to an encrypted channel in mediaportal (austrian ORF1, ORF2, ATV,...) i get the message "No free card available".
Other channels work fine.
If have tried two different CAM modules with ORF-card (Iredeto cryptoworks, SMIT).
I am using the latest TechnoTrend Driver (BDA 1.0.3.9 from 24.05.2012).
Mediaportal is running on Intel NUC i5 with Windows 8.1.
Using the original software TT-Viewer i can see the encrypted channels without problems, also using the Windows MediaCenter (with MediaCenter drivers from TechnoTrend) all works fine.

Do you have any suggestions and ideas?
Thanks a lot!

Andreas

    Hi!

This was the solution - i had to set the "CAM enabled" option!
It takes some time to switch to an encrypted channel, but it works!
When switching to "Pulse 4" i get the message "Channel is encrypted" - this should work with ORF card too.
But ORF1 and ORF2 are working!

Regarding EyeTV: Seems that i forgot to write back.... Sorry!

I had no luck using the EyeTV card - tried some drivers from elgato and terratec, but non of the drivers worked.

    Thanks!
    Andreas
