I have two Terratec Cinergy C PCI HD cards in my PC. When using the latest drivers from Terratec (1.1.1.501), scanning for channels is working, but I cannot tune to a channel. The message 'Cannot start graph' is displayed.
When using older drivers (1.1.0.601), tuning is working correctly.

This behaviour is seen on RC2, but also existed on RC1 and the BETA.

I have attached two logs: one with the new driver (with the problem) and one with the old driver (which is working).

Re : Terratec Cinergy C PCI HD tuning to a channel not working

Hi,

Thanks klara31 !

I have Terratec Cinergy_S2_PCI with last drivers 1.1.1.901 and I always have problems when changing channels on different cards.
I explain: I run a channel using the Cinergy S2, I change channels using another card (work. ..) if I returned on a channel using the Cinergy S2, I systematically an error message (different: Unable to graph, unknown error). This since the 1.1 Beta... I think he.

Following the message of lara31, I installed version 1.1.0.601 driver, and apparently the problem has disappeared!

Continued ...

I can repeat the behavior reported by klara31, 1.1.0.601 drivers works for Cinergy C PCI HD but not 1.1.1.501 drivers.

Hello,

i would like to confirm with one enhancement - the problem :" tv-server hangs" happens at 0:00 o clock , at daychange.
Restarting tv-server solve it for one day ;-))

    Me too!

The tuning to a channel doesn't work! There are PMT-errors after any time wich is given in the Config...

I think something hangs up! If I tune to a channel and the PMT-error is occuring once, I can't find any channels now in scanning until I restart the TV-Service!

I use the latest driver 1.01.01.501

Shouldn't you be asking the driver supplier some help here? If it works with an older driver i doubt if this is a MP bug.

Also please stick to 1 problem in this thread (there are some people posting other problems then the original here)

And: Always post logs! There are quite a few people posting here without them.

No it isn't a driver problem, because prior to MP RC2 the card works with the latest driver!

With RC2 only the old driver (1.01.00.601) works, but with bluescreens of Windows7 sometimes (this is a driver problem!)

Klara31 posted logs... I do have the exaclty same!

Then it is still strange that one version of the driver works and one does not. It could be that MP is doing something different in 1.1.0 compared to 1.0.2. So it might now hit something in the driver that used to work in the old driver, but not in the new. Whether this is a mediaportal bug or a bug in the driver is not known yet, since the question is: Was the old behaviour of the driver wrong and did they fix this, or did they break something. So it would still be good to also contact the driver manufacturer.

And please also add logging, doesn't seem like a great amount of effort and it could well be that there is something special in there that is not in the other logs.
