Terrible quality since upgrading to 0.2.3.0 (1 Viewer)

I was previously running v0.2.2.0 without problems. However, since upgrading to 0.2.3.0 video picture-quality has been really bad.. DVB recordings (MPEG-2) look like they're running at 320x240 or something, in terms of quality.

I'm not sure what it could be, I've tried playing around with all the decoder settings but nothing seems to have an impact. I've tried the following decoders: ffdshow, MPV, DScaler & PowerDVD 7.

The same videos look just fine in any other program.. including Windows Media Player, MPClassic and PowerDVD.

Any ideas??

MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3.0
Windows Version: XP
Video Card: Intel 950
MPEG2 Video Codec: PowerDVD 7
TV - HTPC Connection: HDMI @ 1280x720

What extra system info would be useful?
System is 1.6ghz Core Duo, Seagate 7200rpm HD, 1gb RAM, Intel 945 board with onboard audio/video. Audio is connected to HT amp via spdif. TV card is Dvico Dual Digital 4 but the problem is with all video files.

the problem is with all video files.
Do you mean that it affects live TV, recorded TV and any other video that you try to view, including DVDs?

I can't see anything obvious in your log files .... :(

You did a completely fresh install of 0.2.3.0 - ran uninstall and deleted all remaining files and folders before installing 0.2.3.0 - correct?

Have you changed/upgraded your video card driver at the same time?
