Re: AW: Re: TeVii S480 Dual DVB-S2 HDTV PCIe supported? Hi again Alex Your testing is *excellent*, but this problem does not seem to want to be fixed! :( The team plan to add support for detecting channels that are not broadcast for 24 hours per day. Hopefully this will improve the 30 second hanging situation for Astra HD. I'm not sure whether the improvement will be in MP 1.2. Okay, that is helpful information. Both crashes occurred while the EPG grabber was trying to do a scan. I think you should try disabling the grabber and trying your hibernation test because I am not yet convinced that the EPG grabber is not any part of the issue... So you're saying that the crashing issue is also present when you use the tuner in the Mystique software. That is also helpful information because it tells us that the problem is unlikely to be caused by MediaPortal... So if you only use *one* tuner, the card is ***completely*** stable? Okay, there are a few things that I suggest you should try. First, try disabling one tuner and only use that tuner for a couple of days to confirm that it is stable. After that, switch to the other tuner and try that for a couple of days by itself. This will tell us if both tuners are stable by themselves. Second, are you able to try the card in another computer? That would help to confirm that the issue is confined to the tuner and its drivers. If you are unable to test the card in another PC then it is important to: - check the stability of your memory with memtest - check the reliability of your HDDs with CHKDSK - update your video card drivers - *carefully* check the temperature inside your case near the tuner Again, this will tell us whether the issue is with the tuner, or possibly with other hardware or software in your system. Is the tuner out of warranty? It might be a good idea to try and exchange it for another unit to confirm that the hardware is not damaged...
