text aligment wrong ? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Windows7, MP 1.1.0, tvseries 2.3.3589

anyone noticed texts aligment is going bad afer watching any episode ?
I could recreate the issue every time. Entering TV-Series after starting MP - all fine. Playing any video, pushing stop - thus returning to tvseries menu - fonts aligment messed up. After minimalizing MP to tray and then restoring it - fonts go to correct positionsc again.
Tried clearing cache - no luck.

Is it known issue or is it just my htpc specific ?

I run my htpc at the same res using Monochrome and have never seen that...

I see similar problems on my Windows 7 based HTPC in another skin, but this is primarily on the OSD. I'll check if minimizing fixes it.

Just wondering...have you used the screen calibration? I have, my resolution is 16:9 on 1024x768 (non-square plasmapixels).

Thanx for confirming. I didn't use screen calibration since I've change resolution to 1920x1080.
I'll try that today and get back with result

Maybe it's some win7 related issue ?

Let's see if anyone has the problem on XP (it's what I use), also it's interesting that it happens on other skins...

I've noticed that those texts are also misplaced on main menu... screenshots attached.
It might be some win7 issue...

pilehave, could you please switch your's MP Video Renderer to EVR ? (in MP Configuration -> DirectShow Filter Control -> Video Renderer Settings -> Enchanced Video Renderer)
It seems to me that after I changed it to EVR the issue with texts placement went away. It caused whole bunch of other issues including MP hunging up on video start and/or stop, but it seems like the texts were placed correctly...
I switched it back to DX9 to avoid MP's hunging up... and texts are misplaced again...
