I have texting enabled for DVDs in my native language, Norwegian.
Yesterday, we were watching a DVD with texting and it was irritating so I wanted to remove it. Of course the "texting" button of my remote control wasnt mapped to anything =)
Then I tried to right-click while playing the movie, but none of the menu choices had anything to do with texting.
Then I stopped the movie, exited MP, got into MP setup, found the DVD/text menu and scanned the choices.... A long list of languages and an option to "force against DVD pre-set" or something. I found no option that seemed to kill text, but I reasoned that selecting Urdu would remove text at it is inprobably that a Norwegian DVD would contain Urdu texting.
I fired up MP again, clicked "yes" to continue from last time... And still texting in Norwegian. We then saw the entire movie, after which we were treated to the fbi warnings in all kinds of unfamiliar languages =)
I run AnyDVD in the background to speed down DVD-rom.
Running MP v. 0.2.0.3 or whatever the latest non-svn version is.
