You thought Milk Drop was good..

I finally got this R4 Vis to work R4 it really is the best vis I have seen... although there is a banner that ocasionally appears..


just install the exe in winamp .. and copy "vis_R4.dll" to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualizations ..

select vis in settings....

and to activate hover mouse over vis, cd cover.. and click enter

Anybody who pays £200 for a viz to use in MP, better be listed as MP Donator

It looks like it's that price to use it commercially, you can download it for free for personal use.


When I copy this file to the vis folder then goto the settings in MP config it complains about devIL.dll being missing, anyone else getting this?

I installed mine in winamp and coppied the r4.dll across... have not seen this error..

Originally I just copied the DLL across and I was getting that error, I then installed R4 on my mediaportal HTPC and then copied the DLL across and now it works just fine, very nice

Would like to check out this vis but I too am getting the same error message: "devIL.dll is missing" any ideas anyone?

Did you install the R4 program on your HTPC? doing that fixes the missing DLL issue.
