Hello everyone!
I've been trying to get a mediacenter PC to work for a company that I'm interning at, and so far I have been very successful thanks to your product! Good job on making it as good as it is.
I have one question though. A plugin that I'm using called MyProgramsAlt (I use it to give users a list of Powerpoint files that they can start -business related haha) is only available in the "alternate" menu that you get when you press the circle icon in the topbar. I am unsure what it's for or how it's called, but it's the same procedure in any skin: move your mouse up until the topbar appears, and then select the square icon, it will transform your menu from Horizontal/wide to vertical.
The vertical menu allows people to select the MyProgramsAlt plugin without having to do anything special - having to use a remote control to select the circle and then find the powerpoint option is far too complicated for most users these days
So my question: is there any way to make MediaPortal start up with the "vertical" menu instead of the wide "horizontal" one?
If you don't understand what I mean, I'll try to get some screenshots up. But basically, in the horizontal menu the icons are lined up horizontally, and you only see the weather/tv/radio/music/video icons.
