    hi :)

ive installed a fresh MP 1.10RC1 and StreamedMP 1.0.0 with the included new TVSeries

in the Views/Filters the ViewTags is still listed, but not there to configure as a property for a series in the Details tag.

Is this a change in TVSeries or caused by StreamedMP?

    cheers

Nothing has changed, can you explain in more details what you mean.

yep, thank you for the question.

You actually helped me with this when i first tried to do this, you then built it into TVSeries and it worked a treat.

Instead of using list all, or by genre or whatever, you could list by ViewTags.
This way you could categorize your series, and have it split like astronomy, science, history, and it would list separetely on the left the series you placed into them.

To do so, in the 'details' tab you'd click a series, and then change the ViewTags property to Astronomy, science etc.

I dont see that ViewTags property when selecting a series in the details tab anymore, so listing by ViewTags rather than all, or genre etc comes back a 'no items' coz nothing no property is asigned to it.

    Hope that makes sense.

Oh I see what you mean.

Yes I removed a few fields from there to clean it up. You can simply right click on the series to add series to an existent view. And if you want to add a new ViewTag then you can do that in the View Tab and then go back to Details tab.....whats missing is the ability to add a new view from details tab as well.

    cheers for your reply,

thats pretty cool but it isnt the feature i refer to.
Basically that still allocates chosen series to a particular view list, ie. by listing them as favourites, genre, or a custom view etc, not all are listed.

The way it worked for me before was this..

say i had two types of series, astronomy and science. In the details tab i would name each series viewtag accordingly.
Then, by viewing as viewtags in MP, on the right it would list astronomy, and science (in text) , and if i hightlighted astronomy, it would list any series i labelled as astronomy on the left of the screen. If i go and label the viewtag property on a series as 'poker' , poker would now be added in that list on the right hand side, anything labelled as poker would show on the left side of the screen if that were highlighted.

so rather than swapping between different views like favs, genre etc, you'd permanently view as viewtags, and ALL shows are listed, but sub divided.

Its hard to explain without showing, but it was spot on.
I wondered before if it was skin related because when you first got that working and i tried some other skins that function simply didnt work with them coz of the way it arranged things.
