Not true...there are many of us that use MyFilms.Why do you need a new version? I don't know of anything wrong with the existing version...
Love myFilm, and in my personal opinion, its way much better than movingPic just because of external database.
anyway, I think there might be a small bug in the main interface with a password protected set. as its in config, its not too much of a bother.

The flickering fanart drives me nuts...
Thats strange, I don't get flickering with my fanart....

I much prefer myFilms. The ANT database management allows so much more.
As to 'fanart flicker' I see it every once in a while when I scroll too fast. I fix it by backing up and slowing down my scrolling.
I would LOVE to see My Films development continue (like adding genre images, option to auto-play trailers).
However, that may just be wishful thinking.
MyFilms is a great plugin just as it is.

I agree - MyFilms IS great and there is a reasonable userbase. Zebons has obviously left this area, but is still active in the french forum. Maybe if someone talks to him that his fans are waiting here? ;-)
I would also love to see the annoucements realized, but most important is to keep it running. So hopefully there will be a compatible build for 1.1 final ...

For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos.
